Leeds Millions Missing 2019

On Saturday the 11th of May 2019 ME was visible in Leeds City Centre, a disease often hidden behind four walls of a bedroom.

We had MP Alex Sobel, Dr Chris Afford, National HealthWatch project founder Karen Morris, Leeds ME Network’s Simon Ounsley, poet Jonathan Eyre and so many more.

Over 200 of people came to support the cause and so many more protested online.

We had 200+ shoes and over £400+ raised to support the event.

The people of Leeds ME commuinity supported the event in so many ways. Whether you spoke on the mic, wore a t-shirt, donated shoes, shared your story, campaigned on social media or watched the media coverage, you were all part of Leeds ME activism. Thank you.
