Plans are already taking shape for Leeds Millions Missing 2021. On May 12th Leeds Millions Missing will go virtual – uniting people with the disease online with a packed agenda. Videos, interviews and much more will go live throughout the day between 2PM and 4PM.

This year Leeds will celebrate by uniting online, sharing #ME Action’s ongoing activism and supporting each other.
#MillionsMissing is a global campaign organised by #ME Action UK for better health equality for people with ME.
“We are gearing up for #MillionsMissing 2021! This year will be a week long event, from May 9 to 15, of action and activities to strengthen our community, and fight for recognition, research and medical education for myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME).“

In 2019 Leeds first ever Millions Missing event made a huge impact and was covered by the BBC, Yorkshire Evening Post and many more. You can find their coverage here.
Though COVID-19 restrictions mean that this year we cannot meet in person we will still come together as a city and celebrate the day!

As ME & Me founder, I am once again organising Leeds Millions Missing.
But I need YOUR help – I want to include people with ME in the content shared throughout the day!
If you’d like to get involved, and live with ME in Yorkshire, please take a photo of yourself holding up a sign/piece of paper that says either #LeedsMillionsMissing or #MillionsMissing to be shared on the day. Please send all photos by Sunday 2nd May.
